There are three models currently available:
1)Filter diameter 325 mm hourly production 500/600 Kg/hour
2)Filter diameter 400 mm hourly production 800/1200 Kg/hour
3)Filter diameter 500 mm hourly production 1500/2000 Kg/hour
These parameters are indicative given that the factors that determine hourly production and the duration of the resin filters vary in the case of regeneration due to different factors, such as:
1)Type of material
2)Set temperatures
3)Pollution level
4)Type of pollution
This type of continuous resins filter changer is particularly suitable for materials such as: PE / PP / ABS / PS / PC, etc.
It can stand temperatures up to 300°C and pressures up to 200 bars.
The filter in drilled sheet metal can last from one week to two months.
(This depends on the materials treated and the percentage of pollution).
This patented filtering system is able to remove pollutants such as: iron, wood, paper, textile fibers, other unmelted plastic materials, low percentages of aluminum, lead, copper, rocks and other impurities that are generally present in plastic materials to be recycled.
There are currently three different systems for making a continuous self-cleaning automatic resin filter changer.
1)Cleaning by backflow
2)Cleaning by scraping the micro drilled caps
3)Cleaning by controlled sliding of a continuous screen
4)System patented by F.I.M.I.C.
The system patented by F.I.M.I.C. consists of scraping a resins filter in micro drilled sheet metal that is easily found on the market (opportunely shaped and reinforced with hard-facing at 70 HRC) that has different fundamental prerogatives.
1)Low costs
2)Easy to find on the market
3)Minimum thickness (dirt does not stick to it)
4)Possibility of using it on big diameters (it does not go out of shape)
5)Can be eliminated when worn out given the low cost
6)Consistent increase in the quality of the filtered material given the shrinking of the filter holes due to the action of the scrapers.(Minimum filtering 400 Microns)
Another fundamental factor is that the passage of plastic materials is favored by the simple execution and the extremely free passages that do not compromise the quality of the plastic materials treated.
The F.I.M.I.C. continuous self-cleaning automatic filter changer runs in automatic managed by an internal PLC that commands the main functions.
The last generation of this innovative filter has the possibility (upon request) of working in three different modes
1)Cleaning by scraping and expulsion of dirt accumulated towards the center of the filter (in drilled sheet metal)
2)Cleaning by scraping and expulsion of dirt accumulated towards the outside of the filter (in drilled sheet metal)
3)Cleaning by partialized backflow by using the screen you want without limits (Minimum filtering 80 Microns)
The material waste used as a vehicle to remove the dirt is 0.2% – 0.5% in the first two cases and 4 % - 5% in the third case
