Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Italy ets (JA) è una impact community che nasce come associazione 20 anni fa per trasferire ai giovani competenze nell’ambito dell’imprenditorialità e dell’innovazione. Obiettivo: preparare i ragazzi ad affrontare con consapevolezza un mondo del lavoro sempre più complesso, affinché siano protagonisti del cambiamento e del progresso. Non solo, JA promuove lo scambio tra generazioni e culture: gli adulti portano ai più giovani l’esperienza sul campo e attingono dalla loro creatività e freschezza di sguardo.   L’associazione è attiva in tutt’Italia, con sedi a Milano, Roma, Padova, Genova e Catania. Nell’ultimo anno scolastico JA ha coinvolto 468 scuole (di cui 89 in Veneto), 1.177 volontari e 1.024 docenti, realizzando oltre 400mila esperienze educative rivolte a giovani dai 5 ai 19 anni. Obiettivo per il 2030 è “è raggiungere un indice di penetrazione del 10% sulla totalità degli studenti italiani “– dice Miriam Cresta, ceo di JA Italia.*

JA è titolare del premio Volunteer of the Year che gratifica i migliori imprenditori volontari che portano valori e soprattutto la loro esperienza nelle scuole. Erica Canaia di FIMIC è tra i 4 premiati nel 2024 che si sono distinti “per il proprio supporto come volontario, per i risultati raggiunti con gli studenti e per la capacità di attivare reti.”   La premiazione si è tenuta a Milano durante il JA Day 2024 al Centro Congressi di Assolombarda.

Scopriamo meglio il progetto, realizzato durante le ore di PCTO …. per JA dalle parole di Erica Canaia.

D: Cosa significa per te Erica essere stata scelta come dream coach da JA e poi ricevere il premio JA Volunteer of the Year Award 2024?
R: Da imprenditrice essere una dream coach JA è stato emozionante. La scuola è poco collegata al mondo del lavoro e i ragazzi finito il ciclo di studi a volte arrivano in azienda confusi oppure con grandi idee ma non sanno come realizzarle. Ho sentito il bisogno di rendermi utile, di portare un contributo, nel mio piccolo, alla crescita di ragazzi che magari saranno nuovi imprenditori.  Non me lo aspettavo di vincere, ero già appagata nel vedere la felicità dei ragazzi di essere arrivati fino in fondo. Il premio è il riconoscimento dell’impegno e della passione che io e Valeria Ortolani – mia partner in crime – ci abbiamo messo.   

D: Ci spieghi il progetto a cui hai partecipato come dream coach?
R: Il progetto è stato un PCTO (percorso per le competenze trasversali e l’orientamento) all’I.I.S. di Rolando di Piazzola a Piazzola sul Brenta dove abbiamo reso pratiche delle materie studiate in classe come marketing, economia e finanza, partendo dalla realizzazione di giacche in pelle per motociclisti. La Dainese, azienda specializzata in abbigliamento innovativo per motociclisti e sportivi, ha fornito gli scarti di produzione, i ragazzi hanno poi trovato la modellista e creato due giacche: una l’hanno regalata a chi ha avuto l’idea iniziale, e l’altra è rimasta al motociclista del gruppo. Io mi sono occupata di aiutarli a realizzare il business plan e Valeria Ortolani le azioni di marketing e comunicazione. Poi abbiamo avuto altri professionisti, come un consulente finanziario. È stato un vero e proprio lavoro di squadra.

D: Nella pratica cosa avete fatto?
R: Io e Valeria abbiamo proposto alle professoresse che seguivano i PCTO all’I.I.S. il progetto e – dopo la presentazione – 30 ragazzi di diverse classi di 4^ a 5^ hanno scelto il nostro corso che è durato da gennaio a maggio. I ragazzi hanno avuto una panoramica di quello che c’è da fare per pianificare una startup e poi creare azienda.  La differenza di questo progetto rispetto ad altri è che è partito da loro.  Durante il primo incontro abbiamo chiesto ai ragazzi le loro necessità e difficoltà; abbiamo scritto i loro spunti sulla lavagna spiegando la differenza tra un’idea realizzabile e una non realizzabile, aiutandoli a ragionare dalla teoria alla pratica. Li abbiamo aiutati a capire il business per un’azienda parlando di margini, guadagni, costi diretti, indiretti, tasse, IVA, ecc.

D: Hai operato poco lontano dalla sede di FIMIC. E infatti JA si pone tra gli obiettivi proprio l’attenzione ai luoghi di provincia con uno sguardo però internazionale. Cosa hai provato a fare qualcosa per il tuo territorio?
R: Questo per me era il terzo anno da volontaria JA: il primo è stato a Rimini, il secondo a Verona e ora a Piazzola sul Brenta, vicino alla FIMIC. Avere una scuola vicina mi ha permesso di andarci più spesso ma anche di aiutare concretamente: quattro di questi ragazzi hanno chiesto di fare lo stage estivo in FIMIC e quindi, hanno potuto toccare con mano il lavoro in azienda. E chissà che non possano diventare nostri collaboratori in futuro! Oltre l’investimento dal punto di vista sociale (io adoro fare volontariato perché mi sento utile) è stato anche un ritorno di immagine alla mia azienda.

Le aziende devono avere una visione internazionale, perché il mondo non è più il tuo paesino, ma è importante essere radicati, guardare prima le cose che sono nel proprio territorio e capire come fare del bene.

D: I Ragazzi del Rolando da Piazzola hanno partecipato al contest in Veneto e poi cos’è successo?
R: Sono andati a Parma, al contest nazionale, incontrando 60 classi provenienti da tutta Italia – circa 500 ragazzi – con altrettanti progetti imprenditoriali. Chi ha vinto il nazionale andrà all’europeo. L’amministratore della nostra mini impresa, ha poi vinto il premio Junior CEO awards a livello nazionale.

D: Quali sono state le sfide più grandi per i ragazzi e quale il momento di maggiore soddisfazione?
R: La sfida maggiore per i ragazzi è stata andare dalla teoria alla pratica. Hanno trovato divertente il marketing, ma complicata la parte amministrativa e finanziaria, capire come fare un business plan, come valutare i costi, sono sono andati in tilt e hanno dovuto cambiare mindset.  Il momento più emozionante vissuto con loro è stato a Padova, durante la gara con altre 15 classi e ben 8 giudici nella sede del Crédit Agricole. I ragazzi hanno presentato questo progetto e hanno parlato di fronte a una platea formata da altre classi, adulti e aziende.

D: Cosa ti sei portata a casa?
R: La conferma che i ragazzi se stimolati sono in grado di fare qualsiasi cosa. Basta con l’idea che siano scansafatiche, nullafacenti, incompetenti. Non è assolutamente così. Se stimolati in maniera corretta con passione dagli adulti, raggiungono qualsiasi cosa, anche le persone che hanno delle difficoltà evidenti personali. Dal mio punto di vista se noi imprenditori diamo riceviamo tantissimo. Tutto parte da noi. Il premio è stato per me una conferma di quanto ho dato, è di quanto ho anche ricevuto. Bello.

FIMIC SRL, with registered office in 54 Via Ospitale – 35010 Carmignano di Brenta – (PD) ITALY – CF and P.Iva 04785520281, in the person of the legal representative, in the capacity of data controller (hereafter, “Holder”), informs you under art. 13 D.Lgs 30.6.2003 n.196 (hereafter, “Privacy Code”) and art. 13 Regolamento UE n. 2016/679 (hereafter, “GDPR”) that your data will be processed in the following ways and for the following ends.

1) Data collected

The Holder will process non-sensitive identification data (name, surname, fiscal code, VAT number, email, phone number – hereafter, “data”) you provide as you sign up to the Holder’s website and/or as you sign up to the newsletter service provided by the Holder.

6) Data transfer

The managing and storing of data is carried out on servers located in the EU belonging to the Holder and/or third parties appointed as data controllers. Our servers are currently located in Italy. Data won’t be transferred outside of the EU. The Holder reserves the right to relocate the servers in Italy, in the EU or in extra-EU countries, if deemed necessary. In the latter case, the Holder assures that the transfer would happen in full observation of applicable laws and reaching, if necessary, agreements aimed to guarantee a data protection level comparable to the one provided by EU guidelines.

7) Mandatory or optional nature of data provision and consequences of any refusal

Data provision for the purposes in 2.A is mandatory. In its absence, website sign up and the rest of 2.A services would be unavailable.

Data provision for 2.B is optional.

You may therefore decide not to provide data or to deny processing of provided data: in doing so you forfeit any service described in 2.B, while retaining right of those mentioned in 2.A.

8) Rights of Data Subjects

C) Obtain: the correction, rectification or integration of data; the deletion, anonymisation or blockage of data processed in violation of the law, including those the retaining of which is not necessary to the purpose they were collected of processed; the acknowledgement that any operation mentioned in 8.A and 8.B has been brought to the knowledge of all subjects involved to the extent of common sense;
  4. D) Oppose, completely or partially, to: the processing of your data for the intended purpose, in the presence of legitimate reasons; to the processing of your data for the purpose of advertising, direct selling, market analysis or commercial communication, through automated systems via email, phone call, or mail. The extent of the former right is fully customizable by the subject, who has the possibility of choosing which of the communication methods, if any, he prefers.

If applicable, the subject possesses also the rights mentioned under art. 16-21 GDPR (right of rectification, right to oblivion, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, right of opposition), and also the right to complain to Competition Authority.

The updated list of people in charge and appointed data controllers is kept by the Holder’s registered office.
