RAS+REF
Our best-seller, with an extra gear

RAS+REF is the evolution of RAS, our most famous melt filter, and integrates the REF system into a single machine.
This solution is designed to recover more usable plastic material, allow broader operating modes, and further reduce waste.
It offers effective filtration and optimized output in a compact, efficient, and fully automated system.
Designed for plants that require production versatility and reduced waste, RAS+REF is the ideal choice for processing materials with a high percentage of contamination, while still maintaining pellet quality and minimizing losses.
RAS+REF combines the simplicity of the scraping system with the option of working in backflush mode, opening new possibilities for those who use mesh screens as well as punched and laser filters.
A smart solution to maximize yield even in complex processes, delivering high performance and a significant reduction of waste.
Two filters in one machine, ready for every challenge
RAS+REF is equipped with two separate filtration modes: one to discharge larger contamination, one to filter finer impurities.
By changing a few components, the machine can switch in less than 30 minutes from scraping to backflush mode, depending on the material to be processed.
- Two filtration modes in a single system: scraping or backflush
- REF system easily integrated by replacing the scraping components with backflush components
- Suitable for both post-consumer and post-production plastics
Mode switching set directly via touch screen

How RAS+REF works
RAS+REF is the flexible solution for recycling lines aiming to get the most out of their process.
By replacing three components and adjusting the touch screen settings, the system can easily switch from scraping to backflush mode.
This way, two technologies are available in a single machine:
- RAS for handling any contamination level, even the most critical
- REF for working with mesh screen and efficiently processing post-production waste
The result: one compact solution with all the advantages of FIMIC technology.
Two blades clean the screen continuously, the scraper collects material and directs it into two channels: one for actual contamination, the other for recoverable material. In pressure mode, the system waits until the preset value is reached before rotating the scraper and opening the valve
REF
The cleaner replaces the scraper; it is hollow inside. During rotation, the backflush action cleans the contact point with the mesh screen. The valve opens automatically, discharging contamination collected on the mesh screen.
One technology, endless possibilities.
Choose scraping or backflush according to the waste material being processed, reducing losses
Fewer cycles, fewer machines, lower consumption for lighter operational impact
The addition of REF technology allows RAS to handle any contamination level, even the smallest particles
Recovery occurs automatically, without stopping the line or needing operators. Maximum yield with minimum effort
Backflush mode ensures top filtration quality for post-production material

it can be touched, measured, and weighed.
