In case of very high contamination, it is recommended to use a punched screen (less expensive) to protect the following laser screen (more costly). However, two identical screens can also be installed.

The key advantage?

This means that punched screens (400–2000 micron, more affordable) can protect laser screen (60–300 micron) placed in the second stage.

How ERA works
ERA is equipped with two independent filtration chambers, each with its own discharge valve.
This allows setting two different filtration levels in sequence: coarser at the first stage, finer at the second.
For example, a punched screen (400–2000 micron) can capture coarse impurities and protect a laser screen (60–300 micron) in the second stage, extending its lifetime.

Fewer replacements, lower consumption, higher efficiency.

During operation, melt flows through the first filtration chamber, where the initial treatment takes place.
It then passes into the second chamber, where it is further purified.
