RMP
Constant throughput, Real control.
RMP is the gear pump developed by FIMIC to ensure precise and constant transfer of molten plastic material, guaranteeing process control in applications where output stability is essential.
Based on a volumetric principle, RMP defines the flow independently of upstream variations, allowing throughput and pressure to remain uniform along the line. This improves process repeatability and the quality of the final product.
A technology designed to make extrusion more predictable, reduce fluctuations, and support line operation in controlled yet variation-sensitive conditions.
RMP is the ideal solution for applications where flow precision and consistency are critical – such as pelletizing lines – enabling greater control without introducing unnecessary complexity into the process.
Precision in a gear.
Our RMP is the control point of thermoplastic flow when stability and precision are required along the line.
Thanks to the volumetric gear principle, it ensures constant throughput and uniform pressure, regardless of upstream variations. The behavior of the line no longer follows extruder fluctuations, but is defined by the pump itself.
There’s no need to chase process variations, no need to continuously compensate for fluctuations, and no compromise on output quality. The result? Greater operational repeatability, more control over the line, and consistent quality over time.
Designed to ensure process continuity. Precise in operation, reliable in results.

How does FCS work
The RMP gear pump is designed to bring control and stability where the process requires precision and continuity.
When material variability and operating conditions begin to affect pressure and throughput, maintaining consistent behavior along the line becomes more complex. Even in relatively stable contexts, small upstream fluctuations can impact the output and final product quality.
Based on a volumetric principle, RMP does not simply follow the flow—it defines it. Throughput is generated consistently by the pump itself, allowing pressure and production to remain uniform regardless of extruder variations. This improves process repeatability and overall line stability.
It is a solution designed to operate in controlled yet sensitive conditions, without requiring continuous intervention to compensate for fluctuations.
At the same time, the modular design introduces a concrete advantage from an operational standpoint. The pump structure is designed to enable quick and targeted interventions, minimizing the impact on the line. The gear unit can be replaced directly on the machine, without the need to remove the pump from the system. This significantly reduces downtime, simplifies maintenance operations, and ensures a fast restoration of operating conditions. The time required to replace the gear is approximately 2 hours.
Integrated into the line, RMP stabilizes the flow and makes the process more predictable, effectively supporting downstream stages—particularly in pelletizing lines. In applications where output consistency is critical, it ensures quality and operational continuity over time.
Designed to define the flow. Built to ensure control and precision.

RMP is the new gear pump by FIMIC, developed to address one of the most concrete needs in plastics recycling: ensuring flow control and stability along the extrusion line.
It stems from a clear need: to manage operational variations that, even in structured processes, can affect pressure and throughput, reducing repeatability and final product quality. It is not a break from what already exists, but a targeted evolution of the volumetric principle, adapted to the real conditions of recycling.
At the same time, the design has been developed to simplify line operation management. The modular structure allows for quick and targeted interventions, enabling the replacement of the gear unit without removing the pump from the system. This translates into a concrete reduction in downtime and simpler, more efficient maintenance.
With RMP, FIMIC expands its approach to the process, complementing its established technologies with a solution designed to introduce control where flow needs to become more precise and predictable.
A technology that defines the behavior of the line, helping to improve operational continuity and result quality, in line with FIMIC’s vision: to develop concrete solutions that make recycling more efficient, reliable, and sustainable.
